What You’ll Do

As an Associate Network Engineer, you will be trained as a skilled network engineer and play a key role in our Network Operations team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Creating and updating documentation for undocumented processes.
• Sharing expertise and knowledge with the team.
• Answering and handling basic/structured tickets.
• Assisting customers to ensure service continuity and an exceptional client experience.
• Handling fault and outage scenarios efficiently.
• Supporting rapid customer activations.
• Assisting field technicians with network-related tasks and troubleshooting.
• Maintaining professionalism in client interactions and adhering to company policies.
• Testing, implementing, and monitoring networking software/hardware to ensure optimal performance.
• Providing basic technical support to network users and internal teams.
• Building strong relationships with team members and customers.
• Providing on-call or after-hours support as needed.

What You’ll Bring

As an Associate Network Engineer, you will have:

• A qualification in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
• Basic understanding of IP networking and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, PPPoE, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, OLT, ONT).
• A strong drive to learn and grow as an engineer.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative.

Preferred

• Network Engineering certification (e.g., CCNA, MTCNA). Computer/ Tech savvy
• Experience managing Linux-based applications.
• Experience working in a customer support environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
